At last pothole Potholes Southwells are being filled. Many potholes have been reported to NCC by the Focus Team and other residents - with temporary repairs now being undertaken/completed. The yellow rings confirm that even sides roads will be treated. There are plenty of potholes to fill. One small cul-de-sac has sixteen holes.

However, there is concern about how long this"quick fill" solution will last. In wet freezing winter weather holes soon open up next to existing repairs. Longer lasting repairs have been completed on Halam Road through to Edingley.

Still, "quick fill" repairs are better than nothing.
Reports from local garages confirm increasing pothole damage to cars particularly burst tyres, damaged steering and broken suspension springs.
One garage in Southwell has reported that they replaced over £1000 worth of car springs in ONE week.
